Close to My Heart Operation Smile Blog Hop – Happy Everything!
Hello and welcome to the operation Smile Australasian Blog hop. If you have arrived here from the Denise’s Blog, Scrap, Stamp, Share, then you have landed in the right place. If you are joining in here then please follow the link at the end and you will visit 7 gorgeous blogs and land right back here where you began!
What is it you do that makes you happy? For me it is paper crafting, a bike ride to the nearby lake or beach, seeing the look on someones face when they receive one of my hand crafted cards or gifts, sharing a home cooked meal with loved ones, watching my 8 year old figure skate, and seeing her beaming SMILE!
Putting a smile on the face of someone else is one of life’s great pleasures for me. Close to my Heart has given me many reasons to smile in the last 2 years (almost) since I became a consultant. It’s no secret that I love their products, and did so long before I was a consultant. I have received accolades, awards, met some wonderful people, travelled across Australia several times, built an amazing team of consultants and generally just had a lot of crafting fun. Despite all this , one of the things I love most about being a consultant is that i am working with a company with real Heart, not just in the name.
Since 2008, Close To My Heart has provided support to change the lives of over 1,500 children and their families by providing life changing surgeries for children and young adults born in developing countries with facial deformities, giving them back their smile!
A percentage of all sales are donated to Operation Smile. To increase this fundraising CTMH have created a special set of stamps D1653 Happy Everything. By Purchasing this set of 13 stamps now through to the end of August, you can help change the life of a child as Close to My Heart will donate$US$3 to Operation Smile for every set purchased.
Today’s blog hop shows you some great ideas for using this set.
“Happy is as Happy does”. is another one of the sentiment on D1653 Happy Everything stamp set. I will be “Happy as a bee in a hive” if you add it to your collection, or round up your order with a small donation to this worthwhile cause. Be sure to continue on the blog hop by heading over to get a few great ideas from Patricia’s Creative corner.
Don’t forget to
Happy Crafting, Mandy
