I made these for our team swap at our get together last weekend. I love going there with 10 identical items and coming away with 10 uniquely different ones from my fellow consultants. Are you a part of any fun swaps?

My cards were a quick easy project to make in bulk. I cut out the tree trunk with a hole using my Cricut and some basic shapes from the Art Philosophy Cricut Bundle.  i then embossed it using our brand new, hot off the press, woodgrain embossing folder.

Halloween is not a big celebration here in Australia, as it is in the US, so I used a masking technique to just select “owlo” as the sentiment.

Today we have launched 5 new colours in the whimsy palatte to replace the 5 that retired. New Colours are Pixie , Glacier, Flaxen, Canary and Thistle. More to come on these later in the week.  Here are 4 of them, the green in the centre is actually pear, but the other 4 are the new colours. they do make me happy, i think they are so pretty.

I made 2 in each colour for my swap, they looked so pretty all grouped together, but you know what…I forgot to take a picture….DUH…

So here is my lovely little Owlo, with no mates to say owlo, owlo, owlo. This is flaxen, a yellowy green. which was replaced in my banner with Pear. I used Flight of the arrows as the background stamp as I thought the arrows looked like little feathers.
